Data Analyst (Pricing)
Excellent opportunity with a global company! You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze e-commerce product pricing data in order to help the business make data-driven decisions on specific products. You will support various ad-hoc projects by manipulating data for e-commerce merchandise pricing strategies. You will drill down internal data (cost, margin, sales, elasticity) to help inform pricing strategy decisions. You will also learn how to run price tests and will make recommendations on how to make the tests run faster and more efficiently, while also automating processes, when possible.
This is a direct hire position in the Vinings.
This is a hybrid role: 4 days/week in-office (Mon-Thu) & 1 day/week remote (Fri).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support cross-functional teams on e-commerce pricing strategy in order to increase sales
- Gather data from multiple teams & resources
- Extract data using SQL, as needed
- Analyze and organize data
- Visualize and report solutions/performance via MS Excel & Powerpoint
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of professional experience as a Data or Pricing Analyst (Jr. to Mid level ONLY)
- Experience analyzing Pricing data (will also consider Accounting & Financial data)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables, IF-THEN, & Macros)
- Experience visualizing data within MS Excel graphs or charts
- Familiarity with Retail Pricing terminology (cost, margin, elasticity)
- SQL querying experience (highly preferred)
- Experience uncovering trends in data & making data-driven recommendations
